Yesterday...
my guest, Bandi, and I took a short country drive to a small nearby lake.
Bandi loves her car rides and seeing new places.
This lake is mostly for fishermen.
This was the first time Bandi had seen wind driven lake waves.
She didn't like the water lapping on shore near her feet.
We just drove around the lake and stopped at a few places for Bandi to enjoy herself.
After this we drove to get something to eat...
and then drove home.
Today...
we got something to eat in Colorado Springs...
and then drove through a nearby park...
Garden of the Gods.
Bandi wasn't so impressed with the park as we mostly drove through it...
just letting her out in this one location.
We then drove out of the park and went home.
I had a bag of dog toys within her reach.
She dug in and pulled out this ball with attached bungie cord.
She loves to play tug of war with it...
as well as fetch.
My guest threw it for her a few times.
Bandi loves chasing her toys...
inside or outside the house.
She is going on another mountain walk tonight with my guest.
Last time Bandi got so tired that she plopped down and took a nap after returning.
